Akhilesh Yadav-led Uttar Pradesh government has amended the state Film Policy with a view to attract film tourism across the state. As per the amended provisions, each film produced in the state is entitled to a subsidy of up to Rs 2 crore. The CM recently handed over a cheque of Rs 2.25 crore to Jaanisaar's filmmaker Muzaffar Ali.
