Filmmaker accuses October director of copying film's script

Hemal Trivedi, a filmmaker and editor, has alleged that Shoojit Sircar's film 'October' has been copied from a Marathi film titled 'Aarti - The Unknown Love Story'. "Sircar has... also blatantly copied the look and the moments from the original film," he added. Trivedi further said the Marathi film's director Sarika Mene is now in depression and has become suicidal.
