Final 2 days of Venice Carnival cancelled amid virus outbreak in Italy

Authorities in Italy have said that the final two days of the Venice Carnival have been cancelled after the country reported over 130 cases of the new coronavirus, including two in Venice. Italian authorities have restricted movement of people and banned public gatherings to prevent the spread of the virus. Two elderly people died due to coronavirus in the country.
