The Indian government released a draft framework for the Climate Finance Taxonomy to guide investments into climate-friendly projects. Aimed at mobilising billions for India's net zero goals by 2070, the taxonomy defines what qualifies as climate-supportive or transition-supportive activities. Public feedback is invited till 25th June 2025 before the framework is finalised to boost green finance.
