Finish trial of Naroda Patiya case in 6 months: SC

The Supreme Court on Monday ordered a lower court in Gujarat to complete the trial of the 2002 Naroda Patiya massacre case within six months. The Naroda Patiya massacre took place a day after the Godhra train burning during the 2002 Gujarat riots in which 11 persons were killed. A special designated court in Ahmedabad is hearing the case.
