FinMin issues order to implement DA hike for central govt staff from July 1

The Finance Ministry on Tuesday issued an order to implement the Cabinet decision to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) for central government employees to 28% from July 1. The Union Cabinet last week approved an 11% hike in DA and Dearness Relief (DR) in a move that will cumulatively benefit 48 lakh central government employees and 65 lakh pensioners.
