New Zealand opener Finn Allen has broken India opener Abhishek Sharma's record for taking the fewest balls to score 5,000 runs in T20 cricket. Allen reached the milestone in 2,854 deliveries, surpassing Abhishek's mark of 2,898 balls. He achieved the feat during his unbeaten 84 off 50 balls against UAE in T20 World Cup 2026 on Tuesday.
