Fintech firm Stripe to lay off 300 employees, hire more in future

Global fintech firm Stripe will reportedly lay off around 300 employees primarily in product, engineering, and operations. A company official said that despite announcing the layoffs, Stripe would hire more people in the future and increase its overall headcount to around 10,000 by the end of the year.
