Fintechs getting anxious over ₹2,000-cr FY26 UPI subsidy delay: Report

Fintechs, banks and payment firms are turning apprehensive as the government hasn't yet disbursed the ₹2,000 crore UPI subsidy for FY26, even with the financial year nearing its end, Moneycontrol reported. The delay raises fears that the allocated subsidy may lapse if not released before fiscal year closes. Fintech executives claim the West Asia crisis has added to concerns.
