FIR against CJP organisers, 500 supporters over unauthorised protest in Mumbai

Mumbai Police on Saturday registered a case against CJP organisers and 400-500 supporters over an unauthorised protest at Shivaji Park demanding CEC Gyanesh Kumar's resignation. The case was filed under Sections 189 and 223 of the BNS for unlawful assembly and disobeying a public servant's order. Reacting to the case, CJP's Saurav Das said, "The FIR shall be quashed."
