FIR against Stalin's son-in-law in Pollachi sexual assault case

Chennai Police Crime Branch has registered an FIR against DMK President MK Stalin's son-in-law Sabareesan in Pollachi sexual assault case. Tamil Nadu Deputy Speaker Pollachi V Jayaraman lodged a police complaint against Sabareesan stating that rumours were being spread on his instruction that Jayaraman's son is involved in the case. Jayaraman alleged the DMK was trying to defame the AIADMK.
