FIR filed against 607 people for public drinking in Delhi

To restrain public drinking in Delhi, police conducted a drive over the weekend in the Outer District and booked 607 people. Officers said that the drive has given positive results as the number of drunken brawl and domestic violence PCR calls reduced over the weekend. The police have also been instructed to step up patrolling to curb illegal alcohol sales.
