FIR filed against Congress MP-Prof Akoijam over sexual harassment of JNU students

Delhi Police registered an FIR against Congress MP and dismissed JNU professor Angomcha Bimol Akoijam over alleged sexual harassment of 11 female students. The complaint was filed after an Internal Committee found him guilty of verbal and physical misconduct, including sexually explicit remarks. BJP criticised Congress, and its Mahila Morcha workers protested outside the Congress office in Delhi.
