FIR filed against truck driver after actor Deep Sidhu dies in road accident

An FIR has been filed against a truck driver after Punjabi actor-activist Deep Sidhu died in a road accident near Sonipat in Haryana on Tuesday. The driver has been identified by the police, Sonipat SP Rahul Sharma said. The car in which Sidhu was travelling hit a stationary truck on Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway near the Pipli toll, police said.
