FIR filed in U'khand a month after alleged 'purification' of venue after Kharge's rally

A month after the Ramlila Maidan in Uttarakhand's Haldwani was allegedly "purified" with rituals following Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's rally on August 8, the Uttarakhand Police have now registered an FIR. It also invokes the SC/ST Act for caste-based insult/humiliation against unknown persons as Kharge belongs to the Scheduled Caste. Earlier, a Zero FIR was filed in Bengaluru.
