Fire at Bhiwandi dyeing unit controlled after 4 hours

A major fire broke out on the third floor of Shatrunjay Dyeing Company in Mith Pada, Bhiwandi, on Tuesday afternoon. Two fire engines took nearly four hours to control the blaze. Large quantities of raw yarn stored for dyeing are feared destroyed. No casualties reported. Bhiwandi Taluka Rural Police have launched an investigation into the cause.
