Fire at Dwarka duplex which killed 3 caused by lit diya: Police

The fire at a duplex apartment in Delhi's Dwarka, which killed a man and 2 children, was caused by a lit diya placed in temple inside the house, the police said. The flames quickly spread through the house due to wooden interiors and PVC panelling. They couldn't escape because the main door had automatically sealed shut due to biometric lock.
