Fire breaks out at hospital in Maha, 9 infants among 58 evacuated

A fire broke out in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of Asian Hospital in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at around 2:10 am on Friday. Around 58 patients, including nine infants, were safely evacuated, according to the fire brigade. Three fire tenders were deployed, and firefighters brought the fire under control. A short circuit is suspected to have caused the fire.
