Fire erupts at Greater Noida factory, 2 firefighters dead as wall collapses during rescue op

A massive fire broke out on the intervening night of August 3 and 4 at ILGIM, an electronic chip manufacturing company in the Ecotech-3 industrial area, Greater Noida. Two firefighters were killed and three others were injured after a side wall of the factory and an iron beam suddenly collapsed, trapping five fire service personnel during the firefighting operation.
