Fire erupts at Guwahati building housing SBI office, continues to burn for 33 hrs

A massive fire broke out at commercial complex in Guwahati and remains uncontrolled for 33 hours even as over 25 fire tenders have been struggling to douse blaze, a senior official said on Thursday. The multi-storey building, where fire erupted at 12.30 am on Wednesday, houses SBI's zonal office, commercial branch and premium banking branch and shopping mall, 'Sohum Emporia'.
