Venezuela's Cardon refinery, its second-largest with 310,000 bpd capacity, was shut after a fire caused by a ruptured natural gas line, state oil company PDVSA said. The blaze started at 3:25 pm. and was quickly contained. No injuries or major damage reported. The facility is part of Venezuela's largest refining complex.
