Fire on Moon may be more dangerous than on Earth: USRA scientist

Universities Space Research Association (USRA) scientist Dr Paul Ferkul detailed experiments currently being undertaken in space to study the behaviour of flames in zero gravity. "There's reason to believe that fires could be more dangerous on Moon than on Earth," Ferkul said on the experiments. NASA can use the knowledge to improve material selection and fire safety strategies, Ferkul added.
