Fire tenders immerse 72-foot eco-friendly Ganesh idol in Andhra

Firefighters immersed a 72-foot clay Ganesh idol in Vijayawada, as part of an eco-friendly celebration aimed at reducing pollution in water bodies. Instead of immersing the idol in water body, fire tenders sprayed water over the clay idol at the installation site allowing it to dissolve naturally. The idol was recognised as the tallest eco-friendly Ganesh idol in the world.
