Firearms recovered from water body in WB, CM says 'Dark TMC days over'

A Special Task Force (STF) of West Bengal Police recovered a massive cache of illegal firearms and ammunition from a local water body in North 24 Parganas' Sandeshkhali. "For years under...previous regime [TMC], such illegal weapons were...used ruthlessly to terrorise common citizens...Those dark days are over," CM Suvendu Adhikari said. He vowed to unearth "every single piece of illegal firearm".
