Firebase rival Supabase eyes doubling valuation to $10 bn: Report

Database startup Supabase is in discussions to raise $500 million and double its valuation to about $10 billion, The Information reported. The new round is expected to be led by Singapore's GIC, just months after startup was valued at $5 billion. Supabase, widely considered an alternative to Firebase, is an open-source "Backend-as-a-Service" (BaaS) platform that helps developers build apps faster.
