Firm operating crashed helicopter in Kedarnath was fined for lapses in June: Officials

Aryan Aviation, the firm that operated the helicopter that crashed in Kedarnath on Tuesday, was fined by the DGCA in June this year for violating norms, said officials. A civil aviation ministry official said that the firm was fined for violating norms like non-adherence to the maintenance schedule and fake logging. Seven people were killed due to the crash.
