The first ever canned beer was sold on January 24, 1935, in the US. The American Can Company in partnership with the Gottfried Krueger Brewing Company delivered 2,000 cans of Krueger's Finest Beer and Krueger's Cream Ale to drinkers in Virginia, US. Notably, more than 20 crore cans had been produced and sold by the end of 1935.
