First commercial flight lands at Navi Mumbai Airport

The first commercial flight landed at Navi Mumbai airport on Sunday as part of a validation test with two crash fire tenders welcoming it with a traditional water salute. "We are now one step closer to operationalising the airport, prioritising safety at every step," said an official. The airport is expected to be operationalised next year.
