First European troops arrive in Greenland amid Trump's threats

The first European troops from France, Germany, Norway, and Sweden arrived in Greenland to boost security amid repeated threats by US President Donald Trump to annexe the island. The deployment follows talks that revealed "fundamental disagreement" between US and its European allies. Danish Defence Minister Troels Poulsen said the intention was "to establish a more permanent military presence".
