First hints of black hole eating a neutron star found

Astronomers at the LIGO-Virgo collaboration have detected weak gravitational wave signals from the first possible sighting of a black hole devouring a neutron star. "It's like listening to somebody whisper in a busy café," a scientist said, adding it would take some time to confirm the April 26 event. The collaboration also found another neutron star collision on April 25.
