First meal on moon consisted of bacon, peaches, cookies

Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, who landed on moon by spaceflight Apollo 11 in 1969, were the first to eat a meal on the lunar surface. A meal consisting of bacon cubes, sugar cookies, peaches, and pineapple-grapefruit juice was consumed first. Other meals comprised beef stew, chicken soup, fruitcake, and an orange drink, among others.
