First official joint portrait of Prince William and Kate Middleton released

A new portrait of Britain's Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton was released on Thursday, making it the first official artwork to feature the couple. "I wanted the image to evoke a feeling of balance between their public and private lives," said artist Jamie Coreth. The portrait is on show to the public at the Fitzwilliam Museum.
