First passenger train engine arrives at Manipur's Khongsang railway station

The first passenger train engine arrived at the newly constructed Khongsang railway station in the Noney district of Manipur on Monday, as part of a trial run. The engine covered a distance of 62 km from Jiribam to Khongsang. Caretaker Chief Minister N Biren Singh tweeted a video of women performing a traditional dance to welcome the engine.
