First Photo: Ram Lalla Idol in Ayodhya Temple's Sanctum

Ayodhya's Ram Janmabhoomi temple welcomed a new 51-inch idol of Lord Ram on Thursday, ahead of the consecration ceremony on January 22. Crafted by Mysuru artist Arun Yogiraj, the black stone idol depicts a five-year-old standing child with a veiled face. The idol was placed in the sanctum sanctorum during prayer chants today.
