First target will be women's cricket: CSK CEO on WPL participation

CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan confirmed that women's cricket is the franchise's first target for expansion. He clarified that CSK will not enter the Women's Premier League (WPL) immediately but will invest in the coming years, adding, "We may also go into other sports over time." The WPL currently has five teams representing Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
