First Tejas Mk2 assembly over 60%; HAL targets Oct 2025 rollout
Assembly of India’s first indigenous Tejas Mk2 fighter jet has surpassed 60%. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is integrating critical systems like avionics and EW suites, targeting a rollout by October 2025. This advanced aircraft is expected to make its first flight by March 2026 and will replace older aircraft in the Indian Air Force fleet.
