First-time MLA Rathindra Bose set to become West Bengal Speaker

Rathindra Bose, BJP MLA from Coochbehar Dakshin constituency, is slated to become the new Speaker of the West Bengal Assembly. "It's my firm belief that he (Rathindra) will be unanimously elected as the Speaker of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly," CM Suvendu Adhikari said. Bose became a first-time MLA after defeating TMC's Avijit De Bhowmik by over 23,000 votes.
