Fish oil more expensive: Official of dairy caught in middle of Tirupati laddoo row

Kannan, a quality control officer at Dindigul-based AR Dairy Food, against whom Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams initiated legal action for allegedly supplying adulterated ghee, said fish oil is more expensive. "Any adulteration of this kind would immediately be detectable by smell alone," he told a Tamil news channel. He said the company provides small quantity of ghee used to make laddoos.
