Five injured during protest against census in Manipur

Five people were injured in Manipur's Imphal during a demonstration against the ongoing census as police fired tear gas shells to disperse the crowd. The protestors under the Just and Fair Delimitation (JFD) banner demanded the census be stopped until illegal immigrants are identified. Naorem Wangamba, Assistant Secretary of JFD, said they are demanding a "just and fair census".
