Flames shoot from engine of American Airlines plane after bird hit

An American Airlines flight carrying 172 people suffered a bird strike while flying towards Charlotte. A video purportedly showed flames shooting from the flight, with the pilot issuing the "Mayday" call. The plane landed safely at Myrtle Beach International Airport, and no one was injured. American Airlines said it removed the aircraft for inspections.
