Flipkart drops plan to purchase stake in Zepto; Here's why

Flipkart's discussions with Zepto regarding a potential stake purchase have fallen through and are unlikely to be revived as the unicorn startup has opted to pursue financial backing instead of a strategic sale. According to an ET report, Flipkart had made an offer to Zepto valuing it at under $2 billion, but Zepto declined because Flipkart sought a majority stake.
