Flipkart to hire 10k temporary staff in festive season

Indian e-commerce major Flipkart will hire about 10,000 temporary staff for its delivery and logistics service to meet an expected surge in demand during the upcoming festive season. This comes as e-commerce companies prepare to launch annual festive period offers. Rival startup Snapdeal also expects to create a similar number of temporary jobs between September 15 to November 15.
