Floods hit 173 villages in UP's 13 districts, over 84,000 affected

Floods have affected 173 villages in 13 districts of Uttar Pradesh, with 84,362 people and 13,058 hectares of area impacted, officials said on Tuesday. More than 4,800 people have been shifted from flood-affected areas to safer locations in the state. The administration has established 1,589 flood outposts and 1,263 flood shelters, with food and grains being distributed among those affected.
