Florida man rescues injured eagle from alligator-infested lake

In a daring rescue, Doug Hay swam across a 100-yard, alligator-infested lake in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, to save a wounded bald eagle. Despite injuries from the eagle’s talons, Hay safely brought it to shore. The eagle, with severe chest injuries, is now recovering at a wildlife centre. Hay said he would repeat the act to save the American symbol.
