Florida university students used gum to hide, played dead to stay safe during shooting

Students at Florida State University, where a 20-year-old man shot two people dead on Thursday, used chewing gum to stick pieces of paper on windows to ensure the shooter doesn't see them. A student who was shot in the buttocks pretended to play dead to stay safe. "I fell...kept my eyes shut...released all muscles...and held my breath," the 23-year-old said.
