Flyers from Turkmenistan try smuggling gold, iPhones; held at IGI

Delhi customs on Wednesday arrested two passengers at Delhi's IGI Airport for allegedly attempting to smuggle 538-g gold and four iPhone 16 Pro. The passengers, carrying Turkmenistan passports, were travelling from Turkmenistan to Delhi. During x-ray of baggage, strong beep sound was heard in metal detectors and suspicious images were noticed. iPhones were concealed in sealed tissue paper pouches.
