FM quotes Raghuram Rajan on rupee's fall, calls it 'dollar issue'

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament quoted former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan to explain the rupee's recent fall. "Rajan...this year said that fixation is always with the rupee-dollar exchange rate and reality is dollar has been strengthening against many currencies...so it is really a dollar issue," she said. Rupee breached the 87 mark against dollar earlier this month.
