FM Sitharaman announces National Manufacturing Mission

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the National Manufacturing Mission in the Union Budget. The mission is aimed at furthering the 'Make In India' movement. "The mission [will] cover small, medium and large industries to advance Make In India by providing policy support, execution roadmaps, governance, and a monitoring framework for central ministries and states," said Sitharaman.
