FM Sitharaman seeks Lok Sabha nod for extra FY26 spending
Lok Sabha on Monday will introduce Appropriation Bill to authorise payment of certain further sums from Consolidated Fund for the services of the financial year 2025-26. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will move the bill in lower house to seek approval for additional FY26 expenditure. Earlier, government sought Parliament's nod for net additional spending of ₹41,455 crore in current fiscal.
