Focus on Hema Committee report: Shwetha on allegations of working for BJP

Shwetha Menon, President of the Association of Malayalam Artistes (AMMA), denied reports claiming that she accepted crores from the BJP to find candidates during 2026 Kerala Assembly elections. She reiterated that her fight is "solely against the 'power group' facing serious [sexual assault] allegations in Hema Committee report". Shwetha was accused of enforcing a "BJP agenda" in AMMA previously.
